standing out among those with three leaves
feeling awkward to be the only one
what it wouldnt do to be one of them
of them who are jealous of that extra leaf it has
the fourth leaf is a burden
tries to shed it but to no avail
wishes to escape
begs to be blown away
begs to be picked
four leaf clover
looked for by everyone around
a sign of luck….that unlucky bastard is
rare it is, lonely it feels
tries to blend in but that extra leaf wont let it
four leaf clover hard to notice by them looking for luck
four leaf clover waits to be noticed by those who overlook
four leaf clover is stepped on…unnoticed
