for
love of a place
what man will do
freeze
himself in time
in between worlds
yesterday and tomorrow

time
the biggest constraint
on happiness
for who doesnt have
memories of a happy yesterday or tomorrow

caught
in between dreams
in a state of cold
suspended animation
or perhaps
animated suspension
capturing life
in an unhappy now

the world is so small
but will is too great
perhaps
that is why
we never meet
out on the streets
although heaven and earth
forever share
a kiss on the horizon
